DATE TIME ACTIVITY Weds 16th October 8.00 pm Our Changing Coastline Sea Level Change and its effects on the East of England Coastline by Dr. Julian Andrews, Emeritus Professor at the School of Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia. Weds 20th November 8 pm Madagascar:Michelle Cush recounts her recent visit to the large and very biodiverse island some 250 miles off the eastern coast of Africa. Weds 11thDecember 7.30 for 8 pm Winter Social At Fiddlesticks, 44 Strawberry Lane, Tolleshunt Knights CO5 0RX All very welcome. Bring nibbles and/or drink if you can. The evening will include a short committee meeting. Weds 15thJanuary 8 pm Members photography evening. Projector and screen will be available for members to share their natural photographic highlights from 2024. . Weds 19th February 8 pm Owls & Birds of Prey a talk by Stephanie Callister-Jarrold, who operates the Essex & Suffolk Owl & Bird of Prey Rescue Centre Weds 19th March 8 pm Shetland and Scilly An illustrated talk by Julia Todd describing her recent travels to opposite ends of the British Isles. Weds 23th April 7 pm Cowslip Count. Meet at the Tarecroft Wood car park. (If we have a cold, slow spring we can always defer this for a week).
