15 May 2024 19:00 Botanising Rivenhall Thicks. Meet at the sugarbeet stand by the sharp bend in the Rivenhall/Silver End road (TL822187).
22 May 2024 18:30 for 19:00 Birdwatching at Layer Breton causeway, Abberton Reservoir. Meet at Stovern's Hall Farm (CM8 3HQ or TL825172) at 18:30 to car share or at 19:00 at the causeway (TL949166). Spoonbill

19 June 2024 19:00 Ambling south of Silver End. Meet outside the Co-op on Broadway.

03 July 2024 19:00 Ambling at Fairstead. Meet at Fairstead Church (CM3 2AT or TL767167) . Followed by optional glowworm survey at Bulford Mill Lane (Meet at Cressing Railway Station).

17 July 2024 22:30 Glowworm survey at Bulford Mill Lane (Meet at Cressing Railway Station). There may possibly be a walk organised locally beforehand (TBC).

31 July 2024 19:00 Aquatic surveying in the River Blackwater near Kelvedon & Feering Cricket Club. Meet at the recreation ground on Rye Mill Lane (CO5 9SA or TL869198) Followed by optional glowworm survey at Bulford Mill Lane (Meet at Cressing Railway Station).
07 August 2024 18:30 for 19:00 Shut Heath Wood, Great Totham. Meet at Stovern's Hall Farm (CM8 3HQ or TL825172) at 18:30 to car share or at 19:00 at the wood car park off Tiptree Road (CM8 3ED or TL853133). Possible visit to Tiptree Heath afterwards, moth trapping with Essex Moth Group.
14 August 2024 19:00 Visit to Helen's garden at Rivenhall 'New' Rectory. Probably best to park next door at the Village Hall.
21 August 2024 19:00 St. Nicholas' Churchyard, Witham. Meet at the church entrance.
28 August 2024 19:00 Tarecroft Wood Meet in the parking area at the bottom of the track to Tarecroft Wood (TL824171).
04 September 2024 18:30 EARLY" Late summer plant and invertebrate surveying at Silver End Pits. Meet in Western Arms car park (CM8 3SD or TL813193). We will visit the pub afterwards.
